Today we woke up feeling a bit on the edge to be honest, with Lucy's HSBC cards not working in Vietnam we were in a bit of a sticky situation as obviously when you're travelling you don't walk around with too much money at once. I started the day giving visa a call to enquire further about our emergency cash and we knew then today wasn't going to productive and we would only spend our money on food so basically we went for a few walks and chilled with our new roommates at the free bar.

We ended up having another Bánh mì as it was cheap (we cannot get enough of them) and then headed back to the hostel to give visa a call once again. Once it had been cleared we went for another wander to the street market as the locals had recommended to go on the week ends. It was only a short walk and we could here the music pretty much from the start as local singers were performing. It was busy

(nothing new) and it was great to experience their night life here - they love to sit on small plastic stools and drink 16p beer (You can get 6 beers for £1 - madness)! After seeing more of the market we headed back to our hostel ready to pick up our emergency cash the next morning.
