With the sun setting around 5:30pm every day here we now like to ensure we are up early to make the most of the sunshine, we can't help but feel that the days go SO quickly! Shortly after breakfast with the weather looking perfect we paid for another day of using our nifty electric blue moped as we have decided to drive up North to Danang for the day, it takes about 45 minutes to get there too which isn't so bad. The road up to Danang was pretty much straight the entire way so we shared the drive, sun cream was definitely the right idea as it was a scorcher of a day!

After doing some googling Non Nuoc beach in Danang seemed to be the place to go if you wanted to escape the tourism areas and Trip Advisor was definitely spot on. As we pulled up the only person we saw was a life guard in his small box tucked away at the top of the beach that stretched for miles, apart from him there wasn't a soul in sight - bliss! Alfie and I found two old school deck chairs obviously not being used so we set up camp here absorbing the peace and quiet. For the rest of the early afternoon we spent relaxing in the sea, it was possibly the clearest water we have seen in Vietnam so far and seemed to be very shallow for metres and metres. The only people we did see on the beach was a married couple along with their bridesmaids, best man and photography crew shooting their post wedding pictures which was quite entertaining, one of the shots included the groom on the floor being pulled by his ankles by the bridesmaids whilst his wife helplessly tries to save him - excellent.

Unfortunately the next part of our day plan didn't go so well - lunch! We must have been searching for somewhere good to eat for a good hour before coming across a tiny cafe owned by a very sweet Vietnamese lady. Luckily the lady was so sweet I couldn't face telling her just how bad our food was but...it was horrendous. The chicken was grey, the rice must have been days old and Alfie's noodles were pretty much super noodles out of a packet.

After lunch we felt pretty gross and seemed to be getting bombarded with Vietnamese strangers trying to make money off us somehow so decided to head back to Hội An to jump in the pool, play table tennis and chill. Later on we were in need of some good old comfort food so headed out for pizza (Check out meal 26 on our eat page) before having an early night!
