We woke up after having a fantastic nights sleep happy to be in peaceful Da Lat on our second day (The hostel home stay is definitely a winner). Alfie and I wanted to make the most of our stay here and decided to go to the Hằng Nga guesthouse, popularly known as the “Crazy House”, it is an unconventional building designed and constructed by talented Vietnamese architect Đặng Việt Nga. We were really glad we went as it turned out to be a really fun day out, I would definitely recommend this for travelers to do as it is refreshingly different compared to seeing another temple or museum.

For lunch we walked for about thirty minutes to a popular cafe called An's Cafe and had a delicious banana smoothie and wrap whilst the weather got gloomy and began to absolutely pour it down! It was actually very cozy sitting under the fairy lit canopy listening to the heavy rain, watching the locals speeding along in their oversized rain coats. For the rest of the afternoon it absolutely poured it down and like our receptionist said, in Da Lat when it rains there isn't much to do! We still enjoyed an afternoon of Netflix and playing cards. Later on that evening when the rain died down we walked down the hill to a busy sushi restaurant we saw yesterday (Check out Meal 29 on our eat page).
