Today we are leaving the city and heading to the islands, I was one hundred per cent ready for some sun after all of the rain in Ho Chi Minh and Phnom Penh! Although the journey south was supposed to only be four hours it ended up taking roughly over seven. Because we were on a bigger bus than normal the driver claimed the bus wasn't allowed to stop where it normally does just outside the port therefore we had to make our own way down by tuk tuk, as soon as we jumped off the bus we were instantly swarmed with tuk tuk drivers and moped taxis surrounding us trying to get us to choose them.

After our ride down to the port Alfie quickly went to draw some cash before our ferry in fifteen minutes...a few minutes later he ran out of the ATM to tell us his card has gone missing a second time. It's quite difficult to explain how I felt at that moment without sounding crazy, but it was not good. Luckily we figured out that we can borrow cash from Adam until we get back to the city which was a massive help as there are no ATMS on both of the islands.

After a very tense boat trip we had finally arrived! The island was absolutely stunning with white beaches and crystal clear sea, first impressions were nothing but WOW! We found a very cute wooden bungalow for the three of us to stay in with a hammock on the porch, however there was no electricity, no toilet flush, no ac and no blankets, there was simply a bed and a mosquito net (at least we won't get eaten alive).

For the rest of the evening we played a few games of connect four and chilled out, very eager to start the day tomorrow!
